Thank you for checking out my website! My name is Clare Eckard, M.A., LPC. I’m dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where clients can process their unique experiences, develop practical tools for psychological healing, and learn to better prioritize and care for their mental health. In my practice, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville, where I completed concentrations in Christian Counseling and Crisis and Trauma Counseling. My training enables me to support clients with both clinical expertise and, when desired, faith-integrated care. I am a practicing Roman Catholic and work with people of all faith backgrounds.

I serve teens and adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges and specialize in anxiety, depression, relational issues, eating disorders, PTSD, pornography addictions, self-harm, and scrupulosity. Clients have shared that I have a soothing voice, compassionate presence, and a disarming yet professional approach.
